“The idea for this project basically came as I was hanging out with my friend Chuck U, brainstorming my next creative endeavor and he convinced me I should do a mash-up album. Since I rap and make all my own beats for my other projects, sometimes my own production gets over-looked by the rapping so I really wanted something that would challenge me production-wise, but could also showcase my style. After we tossed around different combinations I joked “shit, why not Kings Of Leon and NWA?” and right away the light bulb went on and we came up with Kings Of Compton.”

 The nation famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has returned. Alot of big names, and soon to be big names are on the lineup. The festival is from April 13th-15th & 20th-22nd. If you're in the Indio, Cali area, I advise you to check it out.

Kanye West's New Company x Donda

If you follow @KanyeWest on Twitter, you saw his tweeting spree, and its pretty rare #WhenKanyeTweets. For a few good hours straight, I would say he was at it.

What sparked this tweet spree was his highly anticipated design company, Donda. The company includes architects, graphic designers, directors, producers, lawyers, doctors...etc. Below we have some tweets from last night. 

I appreciate everyone's support for my clothing line but I wanted to clarify a few things...

The name of the line is Kanye West not DW... The Dw was a design element placed on the invite in homage to my mom : )

I really appreciate the fake DW twitter page but since it's not official I can't co sign any information on it.

I love being back at my fashion office learning and creating. It's so challenging and fun and I'm surrounded by amazing people.

You guys might think I have some type of backing for my line but I don't.

I did the first fashion show out of my own pocket and used the money I made touring to follow my passion.

Ye talked about a few other things that you can check out your own on his page. He did state that his next project will be within this year,

 "released this year [is] called 2016 OLYMPIC's" which is "a semi sic-fi since 2016 is only 4 years away."
